Allendale Bakery Cafe @ Allendale
The Allendale Bakery is off the main dale road between Catton and Allendale. One of the few cafes with a specific menu for cyclists. Serving excellent bread made on the premises.

The Garden Station Cafe @ Langley
This Victorian Railway station - built in the 1860s on
the Hexham/Allendale Line which closed down in 1950 - has retained its
atmosphere and echoes of its past as Langley Station and flourishes in its
new found life as The Garden Station Cafe.

Whitfield Village Pantry
This recently opened cafe recently refurbished is cyclist friendly and well worth a visit. Serving excellent light meals and coffee, a friendly atmosphere and good decor. Secure bike storage in the rear garden with picnic benches to enjoy the English summer!!!!

The visitors centre at Killhope has a cafe open during the summer months 7 days a week serving light refreshments. Open daily from 10am till 5pm.

The visitors centre at Bowlees 2 miles from Middleton in Teesdale is run by the Wildlife Trust and has a has a small cafe facility

Nenthead Mines Cafe
The Cafe at the Nenthead Mines Centre is a stop off point for cyclist tackling the C2C route. The Cafe is in Nenthead at the bottom of Slate Hill leading onto Killhope Moor.

Penny's Cafe @ Barnard Castle
Penny's is a favorite cafe stop for the local cyclists especially on Saturday mornings when the cafe is invaded by the local racing men stopping for a social coffee before their 25mph potter back to Darlington!
